We meet every Sunday at 10am at Oswald Road Primary School in Chorlton, Manchester. Our gatherings include Bible teaching, worship, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
What to expect at Redeemer Church
Whether it's your first time stepping into a church or you've been going for years, you'll find Redeemer a warm and relaxed place to be. There's no dress code. Our Sunday services run for around 90 minutes, and at the heart of everything is Bible-based teaching that's rooted in the gospel and always aimed at real life. You can listen to recent sermons here to get a feel for our teaching. Not just theory, but stuff you can actually take away with you. Families are more than welcome, too. We have Redeemer Kids running during the service, which is our brilliant children's programme for children exploring faith in a way they can understand. You can read more about what we believe here.

Redeemer Church meets Sundays at Oswald Road Primary School in Chorlton, South Manchester, making it easily accessible from Didsbury, Whalley Range, Stretford, and the city centre. There is on street parking, locks for bikes, and it’s a 10 minute walk from the Chorlton tram stop.

One of the things people notice pretty quickly at Redeemer is that it genuinely feels like a family. We're a diverse church, different ages, backgrounds, and walks of life, and that mix is something we really treasure. Beyond Sundays, much of the real community happens through our Missional Communities: smaller groups of people who meet regularly across Manchester to share life together, study the Bible, and serve their local neighbourhoods. Whether you're new to the city, new to faith, or just looking for somewhere you actually belong, there's a place for you here. We're not a perfect community, but we're one that's committed to welcoming people well and doing life together.
New to church?
If you've never been to church before, you're especially welcome. A lot of people aren’t sure exactly what happens at a church service, and might feel hesitant because of that. But many people at Redeemer started exploring Christianity as adults. We don’t use archaic language, we won’t ask you for money, we have Bibles there for you, when we sing songs we have the lyrics on a screen, and we try to explain what we do while we do it.
