Helping you love one another.
The gift of being in God’s kingdom means being adopted into His family, the church. We are saved from our individual isolation and into His kingdom of faith, hope, and love, worked out in a local church. But how can we make the most of this? On one side, others are not always loving, on the other side, we aren’t always that way, either. This series is a brief look into how we, together, can grow from immaturity to maturity in His church.
How this works: The sermon series spends some time looking into six areas where God talks about how we in His church should live. The accompanying videos and discussion guide use the sermon as a jumping off point to apply some aspects of how we can do this. The only way to go through this course is with others, either in a Core Group or Missional Community.
If you have any questions on any of this, or if you would like to learn more about a church that wants to grow in how we love each other, you can contact Greg.

We love These Books:
The Peacemaker, Ken Sande. This is a foundational book for understanding how the Bible calls us to actively work for peace, especially in areas of relational conflict.
Called Together, Jonathan Dodson and Brad Watson. What it means to be a people made for community and mission, in the context of missional communities.
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, Pete Scazzero. The main premise: it's impossible to be spiritually mature, while remaining emotionally immature. Relationships and how we grow through them is one of the prime ways God uses to grow us up.
Life Together, Dietrich Bonhoeffer. This classic book is an accessible and profound theological reflection that arose from Bonhoeffer’s real life experience of being the church in a hostile culture.
