Grow in your faith.
Whether you’re seeking to grow in areas of current leadership, are interested in leading in the future, or just want to grow in your love for God and His world, we have multiple training paths ready for you.
Foundation Track
Develop as a disciple in the everyday stuff of life, and help others to do so as well. Learn how to put biblical language (like “gospel” or “discipleship”) into your own words so that we can all grow in love and obedience to Jesus. We also cover areas like evangelism, spiritual formation, and hospitality. Participants get study material ahead of time, then we gather together once a month to talk through what we’ve learned and how to apply it.
Time required: 1-2 hours/month self-study, 2 hour discussion time.
Open to all, required for Missional Community leaders.
Theology Track
Dig into the doctrines of our faith through a combined programme of self study and conference days through Crosslands Training. Topics covered: Union with Christ, The Holy Spirit, Living the Cross and Resurrection, Bible Truth in Missional Perspective.
Time required: 1-2 hours/week self-study, half day conferences 5 times/year.
Open to all, highly recommended for ministry leaders.
We also offer specified training for more distinct roles:
Servant Leadership
Invitation based leadership track, done in conjunction with the Theology Track.
Time required: 1-2 hours/week self-study, half day conference 5 times/year, monthly small group meetups.
Required for eldership.
Equipping artists in the church to make much of Jesus in their personal lives, in their knowledge of the Word, and in how they serve the church. This is especially orientated towards musicians, and is done in concert with other churches in the North West.
