This past weekend we got to join in with local councillors, school staff, parent volunteers, and others for the Oswald Road Primary School Big Dig. This was a fantastic opportunity to help make our neighbourhood and school more green not just for our kids, but for everyone.

Being a church in Chorlton we couldn’t help but get involved. Caring for the environment in planting trees is a way we get to join God’s heart for His creation. We get to reflect the work of God as we dig in the dirt.

We planted trees, shrubs, bamboo. We served hot drinks and sold cakes for the PTA. We helped put together planters and fill them. And the kids got to run around and play during it all. It was all great fun!

Thanks so much to everyone in the community who came out, and for the Oswald Road PTA for organising it!
